        The National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill program of our government is being implemented by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC). This is being done nationwide in order for us to be will be well-prepared in the event  there is an occurrence of earthquake. Our participation in the drill is very important for us to be knowledgeable  of  information regarding disaster awareness especially during earthquake.  The earthquake drill is very important for us to  be able to know  and be informed of the precautionary measures and important things to do in the event  of  occurrence of an earthquake. NDRRMC who are in-charge of its implementation simultaneously conduct the drill entire the Philippines and was being participated by different government offices, commercial establishments and non-government organizations.  The said drill has become a mandatory requirement for the NDRRMC’s preparedness efforts.                                  In this challenging times, are the school learners both pupils and students still achieve quality education? Yes, we are in what we call “The New Normal” in which the modalities of schooling of learners have diverted to on-line, modular and blended methods of learning. However, the big challenge and question is - Are these modalities of learning will equally and effectively substantiate the traditional way of  learning or what we call the face-to-face method? The COVID 19 pandemic which had stricken the whole world has a very stern effect on the education of learners.        The declaration of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) on March 15, 2020 in our country due to  COVID-19 pandemic had greatly affected our economy.  Some economists stated that we will be at our economic downfall that will have a negative impact on the business stability. To us Filipinos, the challenge now is on how are we going to cope up this health crisis that affected the lives of most of us. How do our leaders strategize so that we will be able to survive this crisis so that Philippines will still become a more resilient country? With the pandemic, majority of  Filipinos are greatly affected such that some business establishments resorted to closure and in effect many workers were laid off that greatly affected their living. Thus, the economic stability of our country had also affected.
